An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St John of God School provides education to pupils with moderate, severe and profound general learning disabilities aged 4-18 years. Four classes provide education for pupils with Autism and moderate general learning disabilities.
Experience working in a special class/special school is beneficial but not essential.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a willingness to engage in further relevant professional development. Shortlisting of candidates may take place.
