St George’s N.S. is an inclusive, multi-cultural school community with strong values and a clear commitment to supporting every child to flourish. As a Church of Ireland school, we are guided by an ethos of inclusion, respect, kindness, integrity and care, and we are committed to creating a welcoming school community where every child feels a sense of belonging. We are looking for teachers who are child-centred, reflective, flexible, solution-focused and eager to work as part of a collaborative team.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers who are excited by the opportunity to work in a busy, diverse and developing school where their work can have a real and lasting impact.
Experience in senior classes, SET, autism classes, positive behaviour support, restorative practice, nurture approaches, trauma-informed practice and/or neuro-affirmative approaches would be desirable.
We are particularly interested in teachers who:
are passionate about teaching and learning;

are committed to inclusion, equality and respect for all;
work well as part of a team;

bring warmth, energy, consistency and professionalism to their work.
This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who are looking for challenge, achievement and purpose in their career, and who are genuinely committed to helping children reach their potential.
