An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Positions Available (Temporary – 2026/2027 School Year)
Applications are invited for two temporary part-time Special Needs Assistant (SNA) positions (0.5 WTE) for the 2026/2027 school year.
Position 1 (0.5 WTE): Covering a job-share arrangement, working 2 days one week and 3 days the following week.
Position 2 (0.5 WTE): Working approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes per day, with exact hours to be agreed.
There is also the potential for an additional temporary 0.83 Infant Day SNA post to become available later in the summer, subject to NCSE approval and allocation.
All appointments are temporary positions for the duration of the 2026/2027 school year.
