Additional Information:
St. Michael’s Special School caters for pupils, aged 5-18 years of age, who on psychological assessment, have a diagnosis of a Mild General Learning Disability. Many of our pupils have a dual diagnosis.
We are seeking an ETB Post Primary Teacher that has an interest in teaching our post- primary aged students. The hours of this post are negotiable, as they form part of our school’s ETB cooperation hours.
We are looking for a teacher to work as part of a dynamic and collaborative team providing education to the pupils of St. Michael's Special School. Experience of working in a school and a genuine interest in working with pupils with special educational needs to help them achieve their full potential is extremely important. Previous experience of working in a special school desirable.
Appointments subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration for Route 2, vetting requirements and Occupational Health screening.
