An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Phádraig invites teachers to apply for 2 fixed-term positions. One position is a 1 Year Fixed-Term, granted as an EAL post. The 2nd Fixed-Term is provisionally granted until the end of October 2026, but could be extended for the remainder of the school year, depending on enrolment numbers on September 30th. Both positions could be in any type of teaching role in the school.
Scoil Phádraig is a large boys school, under the patronage of the Diocese of Kildare & Leighlin. Successful candidates are required to work collaboratively within year groups, demonstrate strong pedagogical skills and promote restorative practices to support student development.
