An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Gort NS has been designated by the Department of Education and Skills as a base school for the Primary Supply Panel. The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short term substitutable leave. Further details of the Supply Panel Scheme can be found in Circular 59/2019.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email if called for interview.
Appointments will be subject to Garda Vetting and Occupational Health Screening.
Initial duties may be subject to change.
