An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We have two fixed-term mainstream teaching positions available for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidates will initially be assigned to mainstream classes.
Please note that our school has five special classes. In line with staffing needs, any teacher who remains in the school on a long-term or permanent basis may be assigned to teach in a special class setting in the future.
Our school has recently been awarded DEIS Plus status, and successful candidates will therefore be eligible to receive the DEIS allowance.
The successful candidates will also benefit from working in a well-supported school environment, which includes the services of a Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) Coordinator and a Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing Coordinator. In addition, staff will have access to the range of supports, services and professional development opportunities available to DEIS Plus schools.
The closing date for applications is 4:30 p.m. on Monday, 7 July 2026. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
