Tiermohan NS is in the Parish of Kilcock, despite the postal address of Naas. We look forward to welcoming two highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic teachers who work well as part of a team and display commitment to the inclusive ethos of the school.
These are two permanent positions. Initially, one post will be assigned to Special Education Teaching (SET) duties and the other to the Autism class, though this allocation may change following interviews. The successful candidates will be required to undertake any teaching duties assigned by the Board of Management, including mainstream class teaching, Autism class and SET duties, as the needs of the school require from year to year.
Interviews are scheduled for the afternoon of 3rd or 4th of August, subject to availability of the interview panel.
*The interview panel will endeavour to facilitate online interviews for those who cannot attend in person. This should be indicated in letters of application*
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
The Board of Management initially advertised this permanent vacancy on this website on the 23rd of June 2026 for teachers listed on the Supplementary Panel for the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin. The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest was the 28th of June. The closing date for submission of expressions of interest from teachers on the relevant Supplementary Panel was extended by advertisement to the 1st of July 2026. The Board of Management is now proceeding to fill this permanent vacancy through open competition.
