An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Harcourt Terrace ETNS is a warm and inclusive primary school, located in the heart of Dublin city centre. Our school first opened its doors in 2018 with one Junior Infant class. Since then, we have grown to cater for mainstream classes from Junior Infants-6th class, as well as four classes for autistic students. When fully developed there will be 24 mainstream classes and 4 specialised Autism Classes.

We have advertised for Permanent Special Class Teaching Posts, Fixed Term Teaching posts, Maternity Leave & Parental/parents leave. Please state in your application if you are applying for a specific post or all the teaching positions. One submitted application for all positions will suffice. There is no need to submit multiple applications.

Initial duties may be in a mainstream classroom teacher role or EAL Support Teacher role.

All teaching posts are new due to the rapid growth of enrolment at Harcourt Terrace ETNS for 2026/2027.

We are just after completing the second school year at our brand-new school building (D02 FC64), situated in the city centre. Our school is easily accessed by various modes of public transport by all stakeholders. Please be aware there is no parking available on site for staff.
