Additional Information:
Setanta is a school for students with ASD aged 12 to 18 with a Mild to Moderate learning disability. The post is fixed term part-time for 8 hours per week, and is only open to teachers who are registered with the Teaching Council under Route 2 (Post Primary). Maximum 6 students and a minimum of 2 SNAs per class. The post will entail working with 12 class teachers in the area of Social, Personal & Health Education (SPHE) and Wellbeing, and dividing the hours accordingly.
The post arises due to part-time co-operation hours allocated by the National Council of Special Education, and supported by the Education & Training Boards.
