An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil JFK invites applications for four fixed-term teaching positions. The successful candidate may be assigned to a mainstream class, autism class or special education teaching position - the final decision on assignment will be determined in line with school needs and priorities. Initial Duties may be subject to change as required by the School.
Essential Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must include a recognised certificate to teach Religious Education Please attach to email.
• Applicants must have completed the Droichead process and be probated
• The application must also be accompanied by the contact details of a minimum of 3 professional referees (mobile phone number required).
• A standard application form must be filled out. A CV will not be accepted.
• No zip files please. Application forms and attached documents should be in ‘pdf’ format. No MS word documents please.
Desirable Requirements:
• Candidates must show a willingness to work well as part of a team, be adaptable, and exhibit a robust work ethic
• Experience in Digital learning
• Experience working in a single gender school.
• Involvement in afterschool extra-curricular activities such as STEM, the arts, coaching team sports in a primary school.
• Experience in team teaching desirable, particularly with regard to initiatives such as SGLI, Accelerated Reader, guided reading, Mata sa Rang,
• Teacher Professional Learning undertaken in the area of Restorative Practice and autism
• Experience of developing and implementing Behavioural Intervention Plans for children with complex needs in a mainstream setting
• At least one year’s continuous teaching experience
