An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Joseph's NS (known locally as Ballymitty NS) will have a team of 12 teachers and 10 SNAs from August 31st 2026. We are opening our third ASD class.
There are 3 positions, which are subject to NCSE review. They are as follows:
Position 1: full time permanent post,
Position 2: fixed term post to cover a Job Share
Position 3: 0.66 post. (21.12 hours per week)
Please include all details including qualifications and training you have undertaken as well as experience you have.
These roles require flexibility and we are looking for SNAs who can be responsive to the ever changing needs of pupils and the school. Teamwork and a willingness to undertake CPD are essential.
Appointment will be subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health screening.
