Harold's Cross Educate Together National School was established in September 2019 and has been rapidly developing since its foundation. This year was an exciting year for our school community as we moved into our new permanent school building. When we are fully developed there will be 16 mainstream classes and two autism classes. Please note that on-site staff parking is not available; however, the location is easily accessible via a range of public transport options.

We are a restorative, equality & values based primary school that is committed to building relationships, responding to conflict in a healthy way and connecting us to our best selves and to each other. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated leaders to join our supportive and collaborative team.

Our school is a mainstream, vertical primary school and we have been rapidly developing since our establishment in 2019. In June 2027, we will proudly celebrate our first 6th Class Graduation, marking a memorable and exciting milestone in our school's journey.

The Board of Management invites applicants for the position of Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position and the appointment will be made via open competition. The Deputy Principal will work with the Principal and the In School Management Team to support and develop effective leadership within the school.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities for this position relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as outlined in circular 0044/2019 as follows:

1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity

We wish to recruit a school leader who understands the Educate Together ethos and who would like to be involved in developing a model of inclusive, diverse and equality-based education for our school community.

The ideal candidates for our school will be fully committed to creative and collaborative teaching, learning & assessment and to developing a strong co-curricular and extra-curricular culture.

There will be prospects for CPD and our school management are dedicated to working with all members of staff on their professional goals in a nurturing and supportive environment.
