An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Naomh Iósaf has a number of fixed term positions in mainstream, special class and SET settings.
Class placement is subject to change at the determination of the principal.
Scoil Naomh Iósaf seeks applications from committed individuals who are team players and are willing to contribute to the overall development of the school.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are highly desirable:
-Experience of teaching in a DEIS school
-Experience of teaching in a culturally diverse setting
-Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with ASD, Dyslexia and MGLD would be beneficial to the role as would a knowledge of Assistive Technology, Assessment and writing SMART targets for SSPs and SSPPs.
In addition, experience in any of the following: Team Teaching/ In-class support/ Mata Sa Rang intervention would be advantageous.
- Additional extracurricular skills are highly desirable for afterschool activities, particularly in the areas of STEM and team sports.
