This post will require the successful candidate to teach a range of subjects throughout the school linked with Business subjects including TY enterprise and work experience modules. Working with our EAL students and others in our SEN department will also be required as part of the role. Good interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach to those with language and numeracy difficulties is desirable.
Newtown School is a coeducational Boarding and Day school guided by a Quaker ethos. The school has a wide range of extracurricular activities and an ability to contribute to this area is also desirable. Accommodation on site may also be available for a suitable candidate who is willing to work as part of the residential staff team living and working with the boarding students.
