An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Michael’s House Special National School Raheny is a school for pupils between the ages of 4 and 18 years with a Moderate General Learning Disability. Many of the pupils in the school have complex needs including Autism, care needs and behaviours of concern.
Experience in Special schools is extremely important. A real interest and dedication in working with students with Special Educational needs to help them achieve their full potential is highly desirable.
We are looking for two Fixed term full time SNAs for the duration of the school year (1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027). School reopens for staff for training and induction on 26th August and to students on 28th August.
The procedures contained in Circular 0051/2019 will be strictly adhered to.
The interviews will take place on Tuesday 23rd June in the school (D05FN34)
