An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

St. Laserian’s School is recruiting SNAs who have experience, a willingness to engage in professional development, high interest in supporting our students in the age group 4-18 years in all areas of the school, and who are responsive to the changing needs of the school.
St. Laserian's School educates learners who present with a Mild, Moderate, or Severe to Profound I.D. Many learners are autistic and present with complex needs.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience of managing behaviours that challenge.
Applicants will be expected to collaborate with all members of staff for the development of the whole school and to maximise each student’s potential. Experience of working with children/young adults in a Special School setting is essential.
Tusla Children’s First Certificate must be completed and submitted with the application.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
