An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Mullingar Educate Together NS invites applications for the following temporary SNA positions for the school year 2026/2027.
Position 1: Full time temporary infant day (covering jobshare)
Position 2: Temporary position infant day. allocation subject to review by NCSE
Position 3: 0.5 Temporary Full day job share cover

Electronic applications will not be accepted. It is a policy of Mullingar Educate Together NS to check all references. A panel will be created to fill vacancies which arise in the school year 2026/2027.
Successful applicants must satisfy Garda Vetting and OHS requirements. They must comply with Child Protection and Health & Safety requirements, have experience and demonstrate specific competencies to work with children with emotional behavioural difficulties, Autism, physical and care needs to include toileting and feeding. Applicants should be committed to the Educate Together ethos and have experience of working with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
