An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Enable Ireland Sandymount School is seeking two fixed term Special Class teachers starting on 24 August 2026.

Enable Ireland is a special school for pupils aged 4-18 with physical and complex needs.
Applicants should demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in working with pupils with complex needs.
It would be desirable for candidates to have experience of working in a special school. The ability to work as part of a team is a necessity.

Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted by email. This post will be filled in accordance with Department of Education guidelines and circulars, medical fitness from Medmark and Vetting disclosure from the National Vetting Bureau.
