The Red Door School, situated in Monkstown, Co. Dublin is an Autism Ireland special school which caters for students from 4-18 with autism/complex needs.
Our post-primary classes require a teacher to work 6 hours per week, in a dynamic, evidence-based learning setting as part of a progressive team. They will be recruited through the DDLETB.
This is a fixed term, part time, hourly class contact contract. These hours arise from “co-operation" hours allocated to special schools to provide them with more specialist subject availability.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, post-primary teacher who has a strong interest in working with adolescents with additional needs and in teaching PE and/or Art for the purposes of Junior/Senior Cycle L1LP & L2LP accreditation.
