Community School

Portumna Community School seeks applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following post which may arise for the school year 2026/27 subject to the approval of the Department of Education and Skills and subject to compliance with and the satisfactory outcome of the national vetting procedures; Wood Technology, Graphics and DCG RPT 22 hours per week.

4 completed application forms, addressed to the Secretary B.O.M., should reach the school in hard copy by post before 4 p.m. on Friday May 29th 2026. Completed application forms MUST be accompanied by Garda Vetting Disclosure, Teaching Council Registration and two contactable references. Candidates should ensure they are available for interview in person from Monday June 8th – Wednesday June 10th inclusive. Late applications will not be accepted. Shortlisting may apply.
