Eolas Breise:
Rathdown School is a co-educational secondary school with a Church of Ireland ethos located in Glenageary, Co Dublin.
Applications are now invited for a Maternity Leave cover position in Music.
Rathdown is an especially vibrant and attractive place in which to teach and the successful candidate will very much enjoy being part of our energetic, positive and enthusiastic staff team. With small class sizes, highly-motivated learners and a total cohort of less than four hundred students, you will discover that we offer a remarkably personal education here – students talk about a sense of belonging that is unique to Rathdown. You will quickly get to know everyone here very closely as you become immersed in a school community that is proud to set high standards and aim for excellence, while at the same time making the teaching of kindness and decency the priority.
On top of the main teaching salary, there is also the potential to earn additional income in other activities such as leading choirs, organising shows or directing the Transition Year musical.
To apply, please forward CV and letter of application to teaching@rathdownschool.ie
Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 6 th June. Short-listing will apply.
All positions will be subject to the sanction, terms and conditions of the Department of Education and Youth.
