The Board of Management of Old Bawn Community School invites applications for the position of two Special Education Teachers, which will arise for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Old Bawn Community School is a Microsoft Showcase School; therefore, skills in Microsoft Office 365 would be an advantage. The school offers a modern, technology-enhanced learning environment, with all students having access to their own laptops. Training and ongoing upskilling opportunities are provided.

A commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs is desirable. Experience or qualifications in Special Education would be an advantage but are not essential.

This position is subject to the sanction of the Department of Education and Skills and to the post not being required for the 2026 redeployment process. A Garda Vetting disclosure and Teaching Council registration will be required for appointment. Shortlisting may apply.
