Portmarnock Community School is a thriving Dublin Community School with a proud tradition of inclusion, academic excellence, and a holistic approach to education. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled and empathetic Teacher of Religion and SPHE to join our team in September 2026.
The ideal candidate brings deep subject expertise, high expectations, and a genuine commitment to the success of every student in a diverse, inclusive classroom. They will be a thoughtful, reflective practitioner who appreciates the particular importance of both subjects in supporting the personal, social, and ethical development of young people in a community school setting. This appointment is subject to Department of Education and Youth (DEY) approval and the terms and conditions of the relevant Department circulars. The successful candidate must be registered with, or eligible for registration with, the Teaching Council of Ireland. Garda vetting is required in accordance with the National Vetting Bureau Acts 2012–2016.
