Practical experience with the management of challenging behaviour and promotion of positive behaviour strategies desireable.
Candidate must be able to show flexibility and work well within a team, display a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
This position will involve working closely with the Principal, class teacher and other staff in support of children with special needs. It will require working with more than one child with special needs during the school day. It will also require preparing for and involvement in class and curricular activities under the guidance of the class teacher and school policy.
The successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of students at all times.
Appointment will be subject but not limited to :Satisfactory references, Current Vetting Requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
