As Presentation National School is a Catholic School, Applicants for this position must have a Certificate to teach Religion. In addition, the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable: Previous teaching experience across all classes in a Multi-grade School, evidence of continuing and relevant Professional Development, evidential experience of managing people, proven ability to work as a member of a team, excellent communication skills, experience of planning and prioritising workload, proven leadership skills, experience in the development ,implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative school initiatives and an understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic School.
A minimum of three eligible applications are required for this competition to proceed. Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to satisfactory references, current and continuing Teaching Council Registration, current vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
