Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for 3 categories of Special Education Teacher. It is an advantage if the candidate has a post graduate qualification in Special Education Needs/Learning Support or be in the process of applying for or completing this qualification.

Due to opening two new Special Classes in Sept. 2026, and growing enrolment, the school is seeking applications for 3 vacancies in Special Education.

1. SET (including small group/1-1 literacy support) 22 hours
2. SET (including small group/1-1 numeracy support) 22 hours
3. SET (ASD Special Classes) 22 hours


The positions can only be filled pending approval by the Department of Education and the Board of Management of Coláiste Muire, Crosshaven.

Shortlisting will apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted.

Appointment will be subject to the provision of transcripts of qualifications, Teaching Council Registration, Garda Vetting and Child Protection documentation.
