St. Paul's Special School is a special school for students with moderate, severe and profound general learning disabilities which caters to both boys and girls from 4-18 years. The whole St. Paul's school community endeavours to make the school a happy, enthusiastic and safe place in which the students can learn and develop to the very best of their ability. Everything centres around the students and they, in turn, bring joy and inspiration to everyone around them.

St. Paul's Special School have highly trained staff of 15 class teachers, 2 part time teachers for Art and Music and 44 Sspecial needs assistant under the Patronage of the Biship of Diocese of Cork and Ross.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers who will be responsible for delivering appropriate education programmes and supports to students attending Scoil Aislinn. Candidates must have:
-A recognised teaching qualification in accordance with the Department of Education and Youth regulations and must be registered with the Teaching Council. Only qualifications of Post Primary nature will be considered for this post.
- Experience of teaching children with Autism and complex needs.
- Have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team, be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. Duties include working with students of all ages.
