Fulltime teacher of Engineering required for junior and senior cycle. Additional subject(s) variable, opportunity for hours in other practical subjects.

This is an opportunity to join an experienced practical subjects department, offering Engineering, Wood Technology, Construction Studies, Graphics and Design and Communication Graphics in a dynamic, collaborative and supportive school with a positive student culture.

There is a strong culture of participation in technology subjects in Newpark, to include Engineering, which has on average 48 students per year group in junior cycle and 24 students per year group in senior cycle. The school has two fully specified and spacious Engineering workshops.

Newpark Comprehensive School offers modern and fully equipped teaching and learning facilities on its recently developed, state of the art campus. All staff members may avail of membership of the Newpark Sports Centre gym and swimming pool for a nominal annual rate. Excellent car parking, designated secure staff bicycle parking and public transport links.
