An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Carnane Mixed National School invites applications from highly dedicated candidates for the position of full time fixed term Special Needs Assistant (career break leave). This is a full time fixed term SNA post. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We are looking for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, and can contribute to our team and work on their own initiative.
Candidates must be willing to undertake courses which relate to the needs of the children and the school. Experience and or training in working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties would be advantageous.
Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
