Convent of Mercy NS, Newport is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Archbishop of Cashel and Emly.
The present staff compromises of 1 administrative principal,11 mainstream class teachers,4 SET teachers including one shared, base school for three teachers on the supply panel, I.5 SNAs, a secretary and a part-time caretaker.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
1. A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic primary school.
2. Strong leadership skills.
3. Knowledge and capacity to successfully lead and administer our school.
4. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Proven ability to work as part of a team and to foster leadership in others.
