Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Scoil Aiséirí Chríost seeks to recruit a bus escort for a maximum of two hours per day, five days per week, in line with the school calendar. Bus escorts are required to accompany up to 5 pupils from our Autism class, to and from school in a taxi.
Specific times will be determined by pick-up points agreed by the escort and the taxi driver. However, currently the service runs from 8.15a.m.-9.15a.m. and from 2.20p.m.-3.20p.m., Monday to Friday.
The hourly rate of pay is €15.82 per hour, in line with the Department of Education guidelines for school bus escorts.
Good communication skills are essential. Experience of working with children is desirable.
Appointment and start date is subject to Garda vetting requirements, verification of references, training if needed and the availability of a transport service. Please include one work reference, one character reference and contact details for each with your application.
