Special Needs Assistant (SNA) – Job Share
This is a demanding role. It involves supporting pupils with significant needs, including personal care and managing challenging behaviour. You will be on your feet and dealing with difficult situations regularly.
Flexibility and coordination with another SNA are required.
Duties include:
Supporting pupils with additional needs in class and around the school
*Assisting with personal care where required
*Managing behavioural challenges calmly and consistently
*Following direction from teaching staff and adhering to care plans
*Maintaining professionalism at all times, even in difficult situations
