Additional Information:
Clogher National School seeks applications from suitably qualified candidates for this SNA position comprising of the infant day (0.83 post). Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible and have a strong work ethic. It is a prerequisite that candidates have particular experience working with children with Autism. They must also have experience working as an SNA in a classroom setting with pupils requiring support across a range of needs including learning, sensory, physical and/or intimate care needs.
The successful candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD), flexibility in responding to the needs of the school and pupils and the ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
