Moveen N.S. is a rural co-educational school (with strong community spirit) at the heart of the local community. Moveen N.S. is a Catholic School with three class teachers and a S.E.T.

Applicants for this position must have a Certificate to teach R.E.

The following skills and experiences are highly desirable:
• Excellent ICT Skills - Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development in this field.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the wider school community.
• A clear understanding of and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic primary school.
• Experience in the development, implementation, operation and evaluation of innovative and evidence-based initiatives.
• Experience in promoting learning creativity, expression and holistic development through curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Proven evidence of previous teaching experience as a S.E.T.
• Understanding and knowledge of the requirements associated with the provision of Special Education Needs, inclusion and diversity.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills expressed both in leadership and teamwork, with an ability to foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.
• An in-depth knowledge of the Primary Curriculum with previous experience in policy development.
• Knowledge and capacity to successfully lead and administer a school -prioritising, planning and organising workload.
