The Board of Management of Sacred Heart Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the following fixed-term Home Economics teaching post that may arise for the 2026–2027 school year:
Experience in teaching Leaving Certificate Home Economics at Higher Level is desirable. A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities is required.
All appointments are subject to registration with the Teaching Council, Garda vetting, and the completion of a Statutory Declaration and Form of Undertaking in accordance with Department of Education regulations.
Shortlisting may apply, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Any appointment is subject to the approval of the Director of Redeployment and sanction by the Department of Education.
