The Board of Management of Sacred Heart Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the following two fixed-term teaching posts that may arise for the 2026–2027 school year:
1. English, History, CSPE (Career Break)
2. English, CSPE (Maternity leave)
Experience in teaching Leaving Certificate English at Higher Level is essential. A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities is required.
All appointments are subject to registration with the Teaching Council, Garda vetting, and the completion of a Statutory Declaration and Form of Undertaking in accordance with Department of Education regulations.
Shortlisting may apply, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Any appointment is subject to the approval of the Director of Redeployment and sanction by the Department of Education.
