Scoil Mochua NS is a vibrant co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Ferns. Currently there are 119 pupils in the school. The present teaching staff comprises of six mainstream class teachers and 1.7 SET posts.
The successful candidate will be a leader who is committed to the ethos of Catholic education and will lead the school in partnership with staff, parents and the wider community. The roles and responsibilities of this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management, as specified in circular 0044/2019.
1. Leading Teaching and Learning.
2. Managing the Organisation.
3. Leading School Development.
4. Developing Leadership Capacity.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
• It is a requirement to hold a valid Statutory Declaration and to complete the Form of Undertaking for this position.
• Standard Application Form for Principalship – in English.
• Letter of Application.
• Recognised Certificate to Teach Religious Education.
Applications will close at 3 pm on Friday 27th of March 2026.
