An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The Board of Management of Powerstown ETNS invites suitably qualified and experienced applicants to join our vibrant and dynamic school team. Powerstown ETNS is a mainstream primary school with eight special class teachers, seven of which support children with autism and complex needs.

Experience in the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Lámh, and trauma-informed practices would be beneficial. Applicants should be strong team players, active participants in professional conversations, and willing to engage in ongoing CPD to support the evolving needs of the children in their care.

Interviews will take place on 26th/27th March 2026 with successful applicant starting on 13th April 2026
