The School Bus Escort travels on a bus / taxi with pupil attending Scoil Naomh Pio Knockcommon, supervising them on the journey to and from school.
The School Bus Escort day runs from approximately 6.00am until 9am and from 1.30pm until 4.30 pm for the duration of the school calendar (hours are dependant on traffic and route).
Candidates should have experience of working with children, have an understanding of additional needs and be able to communicate with parents and school staff in a professional way.
School Bus Escorts will be expected to travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point to meet the bus driver.
Garda vetting is required for appointment. Child safeguarding certificate to be completed.
Rate of pay will be €15.82 per hour
