An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Quignamanger NS has a current enrolment of 364 pupils with 15 mainstream classes. The school currently employs 5 SNAs. ASD room scheduled to open in September 2026. This recruitment is to cover one permanent position at present.

Applicants should have experience in working with children with a learning, physical and sensory difficulties, and have worked as part of a school based team. SNAs must be willing to work in all classes. Experience in essential school based competencies include - toileting/incontinence issues, disruptive/challenging behaviour, assisting with physiotherapy/occupational/speech and language therapy exercises/recommendations.
