The Board of Management of Scoil Náisiúnta Réalt na Mara, Rosses Point, Sligo invites applications for the position of Principal Teacher.
Réalt na Mara NS is a vibrant primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Elphin. The successful candidate will be a leader who is committed to the ethos of Catholic education and will lead the school in partnership with staff, parents and the wider community. This is a teaching principal post.
The Board seeks a principal who will:
• Provide visionary leadership to guide the school;
• Foster children’s welfare, learning and holistic development;
• Demonstrate proven ability to lead teaching and learning, embedding
whole-school approaches that raise standards;
• Be an effective administrator and communicator, managing resources and
systems efficiently;
• Create an environment that is friendly and supportive for pupils with special educational needs;
• Build on the school’s tradition of academic achievement;
• Develop our capacity for digital learning;
• Support physical education and sporting activities;
• Cultivate links with the local community.
