The Red Door School is seeking to create a large panel of regular substitute Special Needs Assistants for regular substitute work. Multiple positions on our substitute panel are available.

Any potential candidates will need to be Garda Vetted prior to beginning to work in the school, with ID and proof of address verification required in-person.

The Red Door School is a school for children with Autism and complex needs. Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in the use of augmentative communication and assistive teaching technologies for pupils with ASD, knowledge of the ethos of The Red Door School, demonstrate the ability to work within a team, have experience working from behavioural support plans and managing behaviours of concern.
