Instructor – Finglas Community Training Centre
Fixed-Term Contract (up to a maximum of 12 Months)
Finglas Community Training Centre is currently seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Instructor to join our training team on a fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality training and learner support across the following programmes:
• Communications and Application of Numbers at QQI Level 3
• Personal Effectiveness and Work Experience at QQI Level 4
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging learner-centred training in line with QQI standards
• Support learners to achieve programme outcomes and progress to further education, training, or employment
• Maintain accurate learner records, assessments, and documentation
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Participate in programme planning, team meetings, and quality assurance processes
Essential Requirements:
• A relevant qualification at Level 6 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications
• A recognised training or education qualification (e.g. Train the Trainer, Teaching Qualification)
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of learner-centred and inclusive teaching approaches
Desirable:
• Experience working in a Community Training Centre or similar educational setting
• Experience delivering QQI-certified programmes, ideally at Levels 3 and/or 4
• Knowledge of QQI quality assurance and assessment processes
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs or barriers to learning
This is a 35 hour a week daytime position. The salary is as per national agreed CTC Instructors rates which are €33,254 to €59,330. Starting salary is generally at point 1 of the pay scale. A pension scheme is supported by the employer. Garda Vetting will apply
