St. Michael’s Special School caters for pupils, aged 5-18 years of age, who on enrolment, and subject to psychological assessment have a diagnosis of a Mild General Learning Disability. Many of our pupils have a dual diagnosis, e.g. ASD
We are looking for a teacher to work as part of a dynamic and collaborative team here, in St. Michael's Special School. Experience of working in a special class/school desirable.
St. Michael's Special School operates under the Primary Section of the Department of Education & Youth and, as such, rates of payment, hours of employment, school calendar, etc. are in accordance with the Primary Section.
Appointments subject to satisfactory references, current teaching council registration, vetting requirements and Occupational Health screening.
