An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Scoil Íosagáin is the base school for the Dublin 8/12 Teacher Supply Panel. The purpose of the Supply Panel is to provide substitute cover in a designated cluster of schools for teachers who are absent on short-term substitutable leave.

Supply panel teachers will be appointed to Scoil Íosagáin (the base school) under a fixed-term contract. The supply teacher will have the same school holidays as the base school plus their own EPV days – appointed until Friday 26th June 2026.

The supply panel serves 12 schools in the Dublin 12 and Dublin 8 area.
Successful applicants will be assigned to any of the schools in the cluster.
It is a great opportunity to gain valuable, short-term experience in a variety of class and school settings: mainstream classes, Autism classes, Early Start, junior and senior schools, DEIS and non-DEIS.

Travel expenses will be payable to the supply panel teacher as per Circular 0009/2015
