Fostering First Ireland (FFI) is seeking a compassionate and committed Education Co-Ordinator to join our team. This is a home-based role with flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and foster carers.
If you are interested in a full-time post you must reside in the Greater Dublin/Midlands area.
If you are interested in a part-time post you must reside in the Greater Dublin/Midlands area or in the counties of Carlow, Kilkenny, or Tipperary.

What You’ll Do
• Develop and deliver the Education Service within FFI.
• Provide support to FFI carers and children to assist them to meet their educational potential.
• Promote the educational needs of children placed with FFI foster carers within the school system.
What We’re Looking For
• A qualified teacher (Teaching Council registered) with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in an education setting.
• A self-starter who is flexible, empathetic, and collaborative.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel.
• A trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to practice
• Must reside in the specified location to support foster carers and children effectively.
