Candidates must be able to work on his/her own initiative, display a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school and be flexible and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training.
Successful candidates will be expected to respect confidentiality at all times. Practical experience with the management of emotional behaviour/difficulties children present with is an advantage.
Experience of working with pupils with Mild General Learning difficulties and complex needs will also be considered advantageous. Experience of working with children with Autism is also desirable.
1 Part Time - fixed term post
Compliance with Garda Vetting requirement is essential.
Medical fitness of the successful applicant must be confirmed before taking up the post.
Applicants should have qualifications as per Department of education and Skills Circular 0051/2019.
Position is subject to NCSE Allocation and SENO Review.
Qualification (minimum Level 5 NCA or QQI)
Referees X2
Closing date for application 12pm on 23rd December
