Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children while travelling to and from school.
Attend to pupils’ care needs, including assisting children on and off the bus and securing appropriate seat belts.
Supervise and support pupils during the journey, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
Liaise courteously and effectively with parents, school staff, and the bus driver.
Travel to and from an agreed pick-up and drop-off point to meet the school bus each day.

Requirements:
Experience working with children is essential.
An understanding of special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate and work professionally with parents and school staff.
Applicants must supply suitable character references.
Garda Vetting is mandatory.

Terms of Employment:
Hours: Typically 3-4 hours per day to be confirmed approx 7:00am–8:30am and 2:20pm– 3:50pm, though routes may vary.
Hourly Rate: €15.66 per hour.
Bus Escorts are not paid during school holidays
