An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Presentation Senior School is looking for applications for a Bus Escort for a route starting in Mullingar, and surrounding areas. The route takes approximately one hour daily twice a day and transports students with a range of additional needs. Applicants would need to be available in the morning before school and after school. The current hourly rate, set by the Department of Education, is €15.66 per hour. Duties include escorting children to and from Presentation Senior School, assisting children to board and alight safely from the school transport, ensuring that all children are seated with appropriate straps and harnesses where provided and ensuring that each pupil is received by some responsible person at the set down point. Previous experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage . All Bus Escorts will have to be Garda vetted by the school.
